In July, FLEXNEWS reported that JK Sucralose Inc. filed a motion to intervene in the ITC investigation to defend its products and customers further to Tate & Lyle Technology Ltd. and Tate & Lyle Sucralose's complaint, which was filed in May with the ITC alleging that certain sucralose manufacturers were infringing on its patents.

"Our manufacturing process for sucralose is based on our own intellectual property and does not infringe the patents asserted by Tate & Lyle in the ITC complaint. We will vigorously defend our company and our product", JK Sucralose said at the time.

JK Sucralose Inc. specializes in manufacturing high-quality sucralose for use as a general-purpose sugar free sweetener. Its products are sold throughout China.
