India United Spirits Buys Liquidity for $3 Million

Mumbai, Sept 14 - India's top spirits maker, United Spirits Ltd, said on Friday it had acquired a majority stake in U.S.-based alcohol beverage firm Liquidity Inc for $3 million through a wholly owned subsidiary, Zelinka Ltd.

United Spirits, a part of the UB Group, the world's third-biggest alcoholic drinks company, in May acquired Scottish spirits maker Whyte & Mackay for $1.18 billion.
