French Ingredients Manufacturer EUROGERM Acquires Spanish LEAG

7 January 2008 - EUROGERM, the Euronext-listed manufacturer of ingredients for flour and bread making, has acquired LEAG, its Spanish counterpart, the French group has announced in a statement.

LEAG is present throughout Spain and Latin America, boasts a recent infrastructure and posted a 4.6 million euro turnover in 2006.

With this acquisition, EUROGERM becomes Spain's main producer of ingredients used in the manufacture of flour and bread and further develops its presence in South America.

EUROGERM started listing on Euronext on 3 April 2007, as reported on FLEXNEWS.
