Philippines: RFM to Build Pasta Plant and Expand Juice Lines

25 June 2008 - At an annual stockholders meeting yesterday, Philippine food and beverage firm RFM Corporation's CEO Jose A. Concepcion III announced that the company would be expanding its manufacturing facilities.

He said that the PET bottleblowing and filling lines for the newly launched Sunkist Iced Tea, Hi-Juice products and Vitwater would be expanded.

He added that RFM is currently building a new pasta plant to cater for the growing demand for its "Fiesta" pasta products, which, according to Concepcion, is currently the number 2 brand in the domestic market due to its consistently good quality and affordability in pricing.

RFM’s new investments in plant facilities and equipment will amount to about P800 million (USD 18 million).
