15 July 2008 - Palmer Natural Products, a California-based dietary supplement producer, is planning to move its operations to Star in Idaho this winter.
According to local business reports, Palmer Natural could employ up to 35 people in a new facility, where its will manufacture various of its products including grape seed extracts, blue green algae as well as pet food products.
A company spokesperson said that the firm intends to move into an existing 7,200-square-foot warehouse and will expand the building to 29,000 square feet.
Palmer reportedly chose an Idaho location as California is weighed down by strict regulations and high taxes.
It is expected that the warehouse will open in December 2008 or January 2009.
