8 September 2008 - Swedish dairy company Milko plans to close its facility in Bollnäs. It is understood that the plant has about 60 employees.
The closure is expected to help Milko become profitable, the company said in a statement.
Based in Östersund, Milko is one of Sweden's largest dairy companies producing milk, Swedish sour milk, juice, yoghurt, butter, soft whey cheese, soft and hard cheeses and powdered milk. The company has an annual turnover of SEK 2.5 billion (264 million euro) and a workforce of 900.
