Thai Bev Bids $115 mln to Buy Rest of Food Firm Oishi

Singapore, Oct 2 - Singapore-listed Thai Beverage said it is making an offer for the remaining 56 percent of Thai food firm Oishi at 37 baht per share, totalling 3.89 billion baht ($114.6 million).

In a statement late on Wednesday, Thai Bev, which produces Chang beer and Mekhong whiskey, said it had paid 3.05 billion baht in August for 44 percent of Oishi, a green tea and sushi maker.

Oishi first announced the deal in May.
