USA: Continental Mills Acquires Albers Cornmeal and Grits Business from Nestle USA

Tukwila, Wash., Oct. 2 - Continental Mills has acquired the Albers(R) branded Cornmeal and Grits business from Nestle USA, Inc. effective October 1st 2008.

Albers has been a trusted consumer brand since it was founded in 1899. The acquisition extends Continental Mills' presence in the branded Baking and Breakfast categories.

Tukwila, Washington based Continental Mills currently produces prepared flour mixes and other products, primarily under the Krusteaz(R) brand.
