Barentz Moves into Baltic States

Riga, Nov 14, 2008 - Barentz Europe BV announces the opening of its 18th European entity in Riga, Latvia, serving the Baltic states Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

Over the past few years Barentz already has been active in these countries notably form its operations in Poland and Finland. Establishing Barentz Baltic SIA clearly demonstrates the company’s commitment to this region and the determination to grow the business in this part of Europe as well.

Barentz Baltic SIA will distribute specialty ingredients and additives, for a variety of Barentz principals, to the food, the animal nutrition, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical industries. Right from the start the company will have a broad portfolio of products to serve the manufacturing industries in the Baltic States.

Realizing a 15% growth year on year for the past 5 years, Barentz remains focused on Europe. With the opening of the Baltic office Barentz continues its drive for pan-European coverage, and is now virtually active in any European country.
