Welsh Frozen Food Firm Goes into Administration

7 December 2006 - British frozen food company CFH Ltd. has said that its Country Foods factory located in Wrexham, North Wales, has gone into administration, only one year after the company moved all its operations to the site after closing its Oxfordshire plant in Standlake.

Local press reports say that 90 staff have been laid off.

“The company has called in administrators and it may be the company can be sold and the jobs saved,” said local MP Ian Lucas.

According to the company's website, earlier this year the business was taken over by CFH Management, supported by Root Capital LLP.
