Denmark: East Asiatic Company's Quarterly Report Q1 2007

• EAC Group's consolidated revenue reached DKK 978m, up 22 per cent in DKK compared to Q1 2006. Operating profit grew by 86 per cent reaching DKK 78m based on strong performances by all three businesses.

• EAC Foods achieved revenue growth of 42 per cent in USD compared to Q1 2006. Operating profi t grew by 58 per cent in DKK to DKK 52m.

• EAC Industrial Ingredients achieved revenue growth of 20 per cent compared to Q1 2006 in local currencies. Operating profi t grew by 50 per cent in DKK to DKK 27m.

• EAC Moving & Relocation Services achieved revenue growth of 10 per cent compared to Q1 2006 in local currencies. Operating profi t grew by 20 per cent in DKK to DKK 6m.
