Ukraine: Roshen Confectionery Corporation - First Quarter of 2007 Results

1.Sales:

the Sales volume for 1 quarter 2007:
- the  production: more than 80 thousand tons;
- in money: $140 millions.

Volume of export:
- the  production:  more than 20 thousand tones;
- in money: $ 41 millions.

2. Investments

100 millions are the volume of investments, which was stipulated by strategy of development of Corporation on 2007. On 22.05.2007 nearby   40 millions are already mastered. There were executed a one third of work on construction of the logistical center in Yagotin.

The perfection of production process is continuing at the Kiev and Vinnitsa confectionery factories (accordingly chocolate manufacture and wafer section). The   reconstruction of Lipetsk confectionery  factory "Likonf" is also continuing.

3.Social projects

The realization of the program of construction of children's playgrounds in different regions of Ukraine is also  proceeding. On  May, 22nd, 2007  there are 56 such objects in the  territory of the country. In March-May, 2007 it has been built 3 children's playgrounds: in Kagarlyk (the Kievskaya oblast'), Nikopol (the Dnepropetrovskaya oblast') and Khrystynivka (the Cherkasskaya oblast'). The solemn opening took place in Khrystynivka  on May, 20th, 2007. Till the end of the year ROSHEN Confectionery Corporation plans to present to children 27 new specially equipped children's playgrounds.
